PGE PARK

This renovation of an aging but historic stadium converts it into a state-of-the-art multi-use sports and entertainment facility. Interior improvements include structural and accessibility upgrades, new concourses and concessions, and a new turf playing field, complimented by a 65 foot high manual scoreboard. Outside, new plazas contain ticket booths, ironwork, pre-cast concrete lanterns, and bronze sculptures, transforming two featureless plazas into inviting urban spaces.

The overall design of the project incorporates modern requirements while maintaining the look and feel of a vintage ball park. As project architect for local design firm Fletcher Farr Ayotte, Brett was responsible for the design of all exterior improvements. This project was the People's Choice AIA Award winner in 2001.
