HEWETT RESIDENCE

This restoration and addition to a classic Northwest mid-century Modern home is sensitive to both the landscape and original architecture through color, form, and materials. Three large pavilions splay across the site taking cues from the curve of the hillside and road.

Soaring roof-forms and existing clerestory windows are echoed in the transparent new foyer and entry canopy. New and reorganized living spaces are contemporary and subtle, relying on a dialogue with the outdoors.
